Feelin’ Frosty

Feelin’ Frosty

Greetings from Sunday evening:) As I wrote in my previous article confessing I haven’t seen the Christmas tree, well things changed, and I was at the Old Town Square – it’s wonderful [yaaay]! Everything was so gorgeous, full of markets, everyone in happy mode, enjoying the atmosphere, we even came across Trdelnik (a stand with sweet rolls)! Sadly it was all sold out – a lot of hungry roll lovers like me [yaaay] because the city center was crowded since it was a special traditional day, St. Nicholas – groups of people dress in costumes; St. Nicholas, the Angel who represents good, and the Devil, representing evil. All three characters walk the streets, stopping children while questioning them if they were good in the past year – kids also sing a song or recite a poem to get sweets – by the Angel, and naughty kids get coals or potatoes by the Devil (so, lesson learned – be nice!)[yaaay]! I got some treats at home too, no coals – I suppose I was a good girl this year – even though they would come pretty handy for shisha:) Oh well, fine, I will do coal shopping myself then [yaaay]!

Otherwise, I had a very nice weekend, on Friday mom, Moni and I were invited to attend a beautiful event – pre Christmas dinner – so if I accumulate enough photos, I’ll try to add an article to share my wonderful experience:) But, meanwhile I’m sharing photos from Saturday afternoon. We spent 3 hours looking for one gift…it was a tour de mall kind of day – we planned on buying a specific gift for mom – for St. Nicholas – but it was sold out everywhere:( But we didn’t give up – yes all hopes were dying – but we kept fighting (dramatic/tension music in the background). Anyways, we finally came across one place and bought her super cute winter pyjama in M&S [yaaay]! She looks so adorable in it! I think I will get one for Moni and myself too, so we can go triplet rolling:) Anyways, I hope you enjoyed St. Nicholas, and I’m coming back to reality – uni life is calling [naaay]! Goodnight from Prague.

Samozřejmě nechyběla hruška, mandarinka a jablko!

Maj tam moc pěknou zimní kolekci pyžámek, spíš domácích úborků  – všechno do červených kostiček a hlavně pořádně zateplené:) Tak doufám že jste si pořádně užili Mikuláše, a já jdu zpátky do reality – škola volá [naaay]!

    1. Thank you! I bought them in LA, in official Ugg store, but other shoe stores sell them usually too. Hope you had nice Christmas, and sorry for the late reply!
